A night at TBN..

030909-052When Shane and Lavonne mentioned they were going to see Jason Crabb, and others a few weeks ago we were excited to go. We had heard of the Crabb Family from some of our friends that are into gospel music. When we got there we were surprised it was TBN and it was Praise the Lord show. (btw, it airs Friday at 9pm central time so you can watch it too.) We had never been there before and it was really fun. Ernie fell in love with the gift shop/bookstore, mostly because the had Jackie Pullinger’s Law of Love DVD, which no one carries.  THe decoration was very.. gold.. 🙂

This was the first time we have seen or heard of  Kari Jobe and she was really good. She actually reminded me of Kim Walker a lot, and I could really worship to her music. Its not all poppy and cheesy.

Anthony Evans walked out and Ernie and I were so excited! We love his music and I guess I missed that he was going to be there. Well, they gave everyone time to speak a little, it was a really great format. They had time to testify to Gods goodness in their lives and share a little then they got to sing. When they got to Anthony Evans, he shared a story that I wanted to post. It so perfectly explains the Gospel, at least it did to me.

He didnt know how to decorate his new house he bought, so he hired someone to help him. When he got back he liked it a lot but there was this mirror on the wall he especially liked. He asked where the lady got it and she told him. He went to visit the guy who made it to tell him he liked it and he asked him how did you make the mirror? The guy pointed outside to a junk pile, he made it out of that. Anthony then said, whenever someone comes into my house and asks me about the mirror, I tell them about this guy that took junk and made it into something beautiful.

What a testimony. The Lord takes all of our junk, and makes something beautiful out of it. To show people our lives, and when they ask, point them to the man who did it.

what are the boys sitting on? Water?
I’ve heard that it is very GOLD at Trinity City. People that grew up around the depression and their kids seem to just love all things GOLD.
